Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, so if you haven’t found the perfect gift for your sweetheart just yet, you’re in luck! With so many different stores offering thousands of options for Valentine’s Day gifts, it can be a little overwhelming. These are some of my go-to gift ideas when I’m in a pinch but still want to get the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day!
Quality Time Without the Kids
When was the last time you had real one on one time with your sweetheart? I’m guessing it’s probably been a hot minute! Plan a movie night, dinner over candlelight, or another experience gift that is just for the two of you!
A vacation might sound like a pipe dream, but it’s very inexpensive to plan a getaway for your sweetheart! You can take a road trip together to save some money and cook in your hotel room or Airbnb to save on food costs. Even just staying overnight in a nice hotel is still better than nothing!
Something They Need
Giving a box of chocolates or jewelry is nice but giving them something they need says you listen to their needs. This could be a massage to help relieve some of the tension in their back, or even a cleaning service to help out with the laundry just this once. Find out what is causing your sweetheart stress and address that need in your gift. Perhaps they need a super cute pair of wide calf leather Frye boots… or maybe that’s just me.
A Cherished Memory
Personalized gifts or photo gifts are a great gift option to help reminisce about a great memory together. Find a picture or use a saying that just the two of you know and make it into a gift! This could be a blanket, frame, or even just a short little poem.
Give your sweetheart the gift of no more awkward silences! Table Topics or a couple’s journal can be a fun activity you can do together to learn more about each other on a personal level. These topics usually don’t come up in everyday conversation, so they’re great for a gift! You can even turn it into a fun date night!
A Subscription They’ll Enjoy
Subscriptions are usually a splurge that we can’t justify. Gifting your sweetheart, a game pass to Xbox or an Audible subscription for even just one month is a huge gesture that helps you support hobbies they’re interested in! This can also be an excellent opportunity for you to bond together if you go for a subscription service like Hello Fresh or Date box. They have subscriptions out there for just about anything you could think of, so you’re bound to find something perfect for your sweetheart.
Hopefully, if you are stuck on what to get your significant other this Valentine’s Day, this gave you some inspiration! Every couple is different but remember that what you get them should come from the heart! Whatever you choose, I know your gift will mean so much to them!
