My Experience As An Ambassador For Prudential At Hispanicize

I attended Hispanicize as an ambassador for Prudential again this year. Hispanicize 2018 (#Hispz18) is the largest annual event for Latino trendsetters and newsmakers in digital content creation, journalism, marketing, entertainment and tech entrepreneurship.
I so appreciate DiMe Media for the opportunity to attend the event, and Prudential, especially Vice President, Cultural Insights and Activation, Brand Marketing and Advertising, Dorinda Walker for being an amazing brand partner. Day one started with a BANG! I was invited to attend the Dove Underarm University event, followed by the VIP “Descubrimiento Digital: The Online Lives of Latinx Consumers” luncheon at Hinoki and the Bird, then off to the Prudential Influencers Welcome Reception. It was so fun much as usual. We had great food, thoughtful gifts, and amazing company!
Day two was really great too. I started my day with at the Rise and Shine Amazon breakfast, then off to Prudential’s “Achieving a Life of FIRE” session.
Good stuff, right? I know. I loved the panelist and their passion…and the content was exceptional. This was extremely helpful because once again, I needed a reminder of the importance of managing my finances and saving for my future.
Since the inception of The Motivated Mom platform, I have experienced significant personal loss with my finances because I invested too much into my business. I learned at the Retreat this year, and it was confirmed while I sat and listened to this panel, I still have a few financial lessons to learn.
My favorite part of Hispanicize that has always been my favorite is the Impact Awards powered by Prudential. This year the awardees were absolutely ahhhmazing. I was reminded that good work will cost you something but work towards the greater good anyway. I’m not saying that we work to get recognized, but it nice to be recognized for changing lives and making a huge impact through your life.
I can’t say enough about Hispanicize and the content provided to help me grow my business. It has been an event that I have attended for three years now, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it each time, met some amazing people, and connected with several aligned brand partners.
I am always honored to serve as a Prudential brand ambassador because I believe in the mission of Prudential and have learned so much about my personal and business financial wellness. It is critical to invest in your retirement, children’s college fund all while saving.
